CONTENT: Flunixin meglumine
Each ml contains 50 mg flunixin (as meglumine).

INDICATIONS:
Horse: Alleviation of inflammation and pain associated with musculo-skeletal disorders and visceral
pain associated with colic.
Cattle: Alleviation of clinical signs of respiratory disease when used concurrently with appropriate
anti-infective therapy.
USAGE AND DOSAGE:
Horse: Alleviation of inflammation and pain associated with musculo-skeletal disorders: 1 mg of flunixin per
kg body weight, equivalent to 1 ml of solution per 50 kg body weight, administered once daily by
intravenous injection for 1 to 5 consecutive days.
Alleviation of visceral pain associated with colic: 1 mg of flunixin per kg body weight, equivalent to 1
ml of solution per 50 kg body weight, administered once daily by intravenous injection. Treatment
may be repeated once or twice if colic recurs.
Cattle: 2 mg of flunixin per kg body weight, equivalent to 2 ml of solution per 50 kg body weight,
administered once daily by intravenous or intramuscular injection for 1 to 3 consecutive days.
DRUG RESIDUE CAUTIONS:
Cattle should not be slaughtered for human consumption during
treatment and within 10 days by intravenous administration and 31
days by intramuscular administration of the last treatment. Milk
taken from cows during treatment and for 24 hours (2 milkings) by
intravenous administration and 36 hours (3 milkings) by
intramuscular administration after the last treatment should not be
used for human consumption.
