Description

CONTENT:
Each ml contains 200 mg procaine benzylpenicillin and 250 Procaine
mg dihydrostreptomycin sulphate.

For the treatment of infections of respiratory tract, alimentary
tract, urogenital tract and soft
Dihydrostreptomycin
tissue microorganisms, susceptible to combination in cattle, sulphate 250mg
sheep, horses, dogs and cats.
USAGE AND DOSAGE:.
Shake the vial well before use. Administer by deep intramuscular injection.
For cattle, sheep, horses: Recommended dosage rate is 8 mg/kg body weight procaine
benzylpenicillin with 10 mg/kg bodyweight dihydrostreptomycin sulphate equivalent to 1 ml per 25 kg
body weight. Treatment should be given once daily for up to 3 consecutive days.
For dogs and cats: Recommended dosage rate is 8-20 mg/kg body weight procaine benzylpenicillin
with 10- 25 mg/kg bodyweight dihydrostreptomycin sulphate equivalent to 0,5 ml per 5 kg body
weight. Treatment should be given once daily for up to 3-5 consecutive days.
DRUG RESIDUE CAUTIONS:
Cattle and sheep should not be slaughtered for human
consumption during treatment and within 35 days of the last
treatment.
Milk taken from cows during treatment and for 72 hours (6
milkings) after the last treatment should not be used for human
consumption.
Not to be used in sheep producing milk for human consumption.
PRESENTATION: It is presented in vials of 50 ml and 100 ml.

Cattle, Sheep: 35 days.
Dairy cow: 72 hours (6 milking).
