Description

CONTENT: Butafosfan
Each ml contains 100 mg butafosfan (equivelant to 17,30 mg
100mg
phosphorous), 0,05 mg vitamin B12.

INDICATIONS: 0,05mg
In cattle, horses, cats and dogs, supportive treatment of muscle, metabolic or reproductive disorders,
when supplementation of phosphorous and cyanocobalamin is needed.
USAGE AND DOSAGE:
For cattle: For intravenous use. For the treatment of phosphorus and/or vitamin B12 deficiency;
Cattle: 2-5 mg of butafosfan and 0.001- 0.0025 mg of cyanocobalamin per kg body weight
corresponding to 2-5 ml/100 kg body weight.
Calves: 10-25 mg of butafosfan and 0.005-0.0125 mg of cyanocobalamin per kg body weight
corresponding to 10-25 ml/100 kg body weight. Repeat once daily if necessary. For the supportive
treatment of abomasum displacement associated with secondary ketosis to improve rumination
activities after surgical operation; 5 ml/100 kg body weight daily with a 24 hour interval for three
consecutive days.The first application should be done on the day of the operation.
For horse: For intravenous use. Horses: 2-5 mg of butafosfan and 0.001-0.0025 mg of
cyanocobalamin per kg body weight corresponding to 2-5 ml/100 kg body weight. Foals: 0.35-0.6
ml/10 kg body weight
For cat and dog: For intravenous, intramuscular, subcutaneous
use. Cats: 10-50 mg of butafosfan and 5-25 mg of cyanocobalamin
per kg body weight corresponding to 0,5- 5 ml/5 kg body weight.
Dogs: 2,5-25 mg of butafosfan and 1.0-2,5 mg of cyanocobalamin
per kg body weight corresponding to 0,25-2,5 ml/10 kg body
weight. In chronic cases, half of the prescribed doses are
administered, the other half is administered after 1-2 weeks.
PRESENTATION: It is presented in vials of 100 ml.
