CONTENT:
Each ml contains 300 mg Oxytetracycline base (as Oxytetracycline HCl
Oxytetracycline dihydrate).

INDICATIONS:
For the treatment of systemic, respiratory and local infections
caused by oxytetracycline susceptible bacteria in target
species.
USAGE AND DOSAGE:.
Deep intramuscular injection. The standard dose is 20 mg/kg body weight (1 ml per 15 kg body
weight) to obtain 3 to 4 days duration of activity.
The high dose is 30 mg/kg body weight (1 ml per 10 kg body weight) to obtain 5 to 6 days duration of
activity.
DRUG RESIDUE CAUTIONS:
20 mg/kg dose: Cattle and sheep should not be slaughtered for
human consumption during treatment and within 28 days of the last
treatment. Milk taken from cows during treatment and for 10 days
(20 milkings) after the last treatment should not be used for human
consumption. Milk taken from sheep during treatment and for 7
days (14 milkings) after the last treatment should not be used for
human consumption. 30 mg/kg dose: Cattle should not be
slaughtered for human consumption during treatment and within 35
days of the last treatment. Sheep should not be slaughtered for
human consumption during treatment and within 28 days of the last
treatment. Milk taken from cows during treatment and for 10 days
(20 milkings) after the last treatment should not be used for human
consumption. Milk taken from sheep during treatment and for 8
days (16 milkings) after the last treatment should not be
used for human consumption.
