INDICATIONS:

Cattle Alleviation of clinical symptoms in acute respiratory system infections with antibiotic treatment, Reducing
the symptoms of diarrhea in calves older than one week and non-lactating calves with oral rehydration
therapy, Alleviation of postoperative pain after horn operations in calves,
Dog Alleviation of inflammation and pain in both acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders,
Reducing postoperative pain and inflammation after orthopedic and soft tissue surgery.
Cat Reducing pain after ovariohysterectomy and minor soft tissue surgery.
USAGE AND DOSAGE:
Cattle: It is administered as a single subcutaneous or intravenous injection at a dose of 0.5 mg meloxicam/kg
body weight (i.e., 10.0 ml/100 kg body weight) in combination with antibiotic therapy or oral rehydration
therapy as appropriate. Reducing postoperative pain:
Single intramuscular injection at a dose of 0.4 mg meloxicam/kg body weight (i.e., 0.4 ml/5 kg body weight)
before the surgery. Particular attention should be paid to the accuracy of dosing, including the use of a
suitable dosing device and careful estimation of body weight. Avoid contamination during use.
Dog:
Musculoskeletal disorder:
Single subcutaneous injection at a dose of 0.2 mg meloxicam/kg body weight (i.e., 0.4 ml/10 kg body
weight). For the continuation of the treatment, a suspension or tablet form of meloxicam can be preferred.
Reducing postoperative pain (more than 24 hours): A single intravenous or subcutaneous injection of 0.2 mg
meloxicam/kg body weight (i.e., 0.4 ml/10 kg body weight) before surgery, namely during induction of
anesthesia.
Cat: Reducing postoperative pain: A single subcutaneous injection of
0.3 mg meloxicam/kg body weight (i.e., 0.06 ml/kg body weight)
before surgery, namely during induction of anesthesia. Particular
attention should be paid to the accuracy of dosing. Avoid
contamination during use.
PRESENTATION: It is presented in of 50 ml and 100 ml.
TARGET SPECIES: Cattle, Dog, Cat
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Do not slaughter the cattle for 15 days from the administration of
the drug. If it is used in lactating animals, the withdrawal time for
residues in milk is 5 days (10 milkings).
