INDICATIONS:
It is used in the treatment and metaphylaxis of digestive system infections caused by colistin-
sensitive non-invasive Escherichia coli in calves, lambs, chickens, and turkeys. The presence of the
disease in the herd should be determined before metaphylactic use.
USAGE AND DOSAGE:
To avoid low-dose administration, the weights of animals should be calculated as accurately as
possible. Daily water consumption may vary depending on the physiological and clinical conditions
of the animals. Therefore, this factor should be taken into account in the dosage of the product.
Medicated water should be the sole source of water for animals during the treatment period. Water
consumption should be monitored at appropriate intervals. The water system should be properly
washed after treatment to prevent the intake of antibiotics at subtherapeutic doses. Use properly
calibrated measuring devices for accurate dosing. Medicated water should be prepared every 24
hours. Pay attention to the minimum required duration of product use for treatment.
Calves and lambs: 100,000 IU/kg live weight/day (1g/48kg/day)
Chickens and turkeys: 75,000 IU/kg body weight/day (3 to 5 days)
